What's the story behind Static? It's quite narcissistic, actually. I was trying to think of names that went with alwaysforgiven, names from songs/lyrics, etc. because I like things like that. I was browsing through my iTunes library, when I came across the band FM Static - which caught my eye because FM are my initials. Then I thought, "Hmm. FM.alwaysforgiven.com...static.alwaysforgiven.com...I like it!" And so that's the narcissistic reason behind the name.
